Buy Sophie the Giraffe Online

One of the best baby toys on the market in my opinion is Sophie the Giraffe.   This soft toy is easy for babies to hold, doubles as a teether and is also a squeaky toy – basically it has everything a baby could wish for!

Love at first bite and no I’m not talking about Twilight, I’m talking about baby’s reactions to Sophie the Giraffe!   There are a number of great toys that I recommend to people for babies, but Sophie the Giraffe is always at the top of my list.

Sophie is a quirky giraffe that has become the classic teething toy for a number of decades now.   Sophie the giraffe is made from natural rubber with means that there is no worrying for parents about what their baby is putting in their mouth.   The coloring is all non-toxic and it contains absolutely no phthalates and BPA.    So that’s things that the parents can appreciate, but what about the babies?

I think that Sophie’s shape and her contrasting colored spots make her instantly recognizable to babies which is part of the reason they get very excited to see her. Sophie the Giraffe is possibly the best shape as her neck makes her really easy for a baby of only 3 months plus to hold on to easily.

There are lots of parts on Sophie the Giraffe that can be easily chewed on by babies which helps both the baby and parent get through the teething stages. My daughter took a liking to the ears, mainly due to the way she always held on to Sophie. My eldest niece, however, much preferred Sophie the Giraffe’s feet and was able to stick all of them in her mouth at once!

Sophie the Giraffes long legs are also made for a baby to grip easily and being that they are long it’s easy for a baby to chew on her feet with his/her back teeth which is hard to do with some of the other teethers on the market.

Sophie the Giraffe also squeaks and a great thing about Sophie is that I found my baby could make her squeak really easily which was a problem with a number of other toys.

Now Sophie the Giraffe really is a must have baby toy in my opinion, but I’ll admit it’s a lot more expensive than some other teethers on the market.   I always recommend to my friends that they try and buy Sophie the Giraffe online because you can usually find it a lot cheaper.    Let’s face it being parents can be expensive so every dollar helps.
