How to Create a Justin Bieber Bedroom

If you want to create a fantastic looking Justin Bieber bedroom for a fan then you’ve come to the right place. There are some great looks that you can use to create a special Bieber paradise for your JB fan.

As always when it comes to creating a themed bedroom you can go all in and have ceiling to floor Justin Bieber or you can just add a few special touches to create a Justin Bieber bedroom which can be easily transformed into a temple to someone else next year! I’m going to cover all the steps to creating a great bedroom, but I will say that I tend to just focus on a couple of things when I’m doing a themed bedroom for my daughter as her fickleness plus budgetary constraints require it and yet the reaction is always awesome.

First up is the door, now when children are younger they always want a door on the outside of their room with their name on it, but I’ve found that at the age where they may be discovering Bieber Fever they are often growing out of this idea.

You can get Justin Bieber door posters like the one opposite which you can put on the outside of their door if you like. My dd prefers to have her door posters on the inside, however, so that she can look at them whenever she likes so if you do choose to get one you’ll have to go with your instincts about what your Bieber fan would prefer.

Now let’s step inside out bedroom and decide on the color scheme you want to use. Luckily Justin Bieber bedding and décor is available in lots of different colors so you have a wide palatte to choose from. I like to use fairly neutral colors on the wall so that it’s easier to transform the look of the room when I need to.

A color that does seem quite popular in prints and bedding etc for Justin Bieber is purple, but honestly I would just paint the walls your child’s favourite color or else choose the bedding first and base the rest of the room around the colors of the set you get.

As far as flooring goes, I think wooden floors look awesome, but I would go with a neutral carpet if you prefer carpeted floors – we can add a rug to JB it up later.

Once you’ve decided on what color to paint the bedroom walls you will need to decorate them and I find posters are the most popular choice. Now you could just stick the posters straight onto the walls, but personally I like to just have a few posters and pop them into frames to make them appear as art work.

I actually have two silver colored frames that my daughter has had in her room since she was a baby – they’ve seen Pooh bear posters, Hannah Montana Posters, Bratz Posters, Zach Efron etc. It’s so easy to just take them down and swap out the posters as her likes change.

There are so many different Justin Bieber posters to choose from that I’m just going to link to a page for you to check them all out. I would recommend getting at least 2, how many in total you decide on is up to you, but 2 is a good minimum number for a Justin Bieber bedroom.

Also sticking to the walls we have the option of a Justin Bieber wall clock, now my daughter prefers to have a clock on her bedside table, but if you think your child would like a clock on the wall then check out what JB clocks are available on ebay at the moment.

Now the absolute latest in wall fashion sees a move away from posters and prints and on to wall sayings or quotes which look really stylish. If your Justin fan is on the young side they will also think that writing on the wall is very ‘grown up’.

As you can see from the wall art saying opposite it’s a pretty good message to put on the wall anyway whether they’re a Justin Bieber fan or not – following your dreams and not giving up sounds like a motivational poster as opposed to pop star art.

The final step to decorating your wall is by looking at your light switches and covering them with switch plates. Check out the fun switch plates available –

Switch plate covers are easy to use, but aren’t necessary to create an awesome JB bedroom instead they’re like adding frosting to a chocolate cake – the chocolate cake is nice as is, but with the frosting it’s even more special!

Now I haven’t been able to find any Justin Bieber window treatments or rugs at the time of writing this article – not even on ebay which is pretty amazing. What I would do is just use plain curtains that compliment your bedding.

As far as a rug is concerned there are two options. Firstly you could just add a rug in a color that ties in the curtains and bedding or secondly you could add a red runner from the door to the center of the room where you could match it with a round red rug. This creates the red carpet leading into the room and stopping in the spotlight for photos etc – it’s a cool idea that can be used for several other star themed bedrooms as well.

To really amp up the red carpet idea you could position a Justin Bieber stand up on the round ‘spotlight’ waiting to have his photo taken with your JB fan and any friends that come over (there may be quite a few of them!)

Of course there is a third option – don’t add a rug, I nearly forgot that one!

Now the bed is the main piece of furniture in the room so it’s important to get the bedding just right.

First of all you can get sheets (see opposite), but to be perfectly honest I have never bothered with themed sheets and I tend to just get plain ones in a color that matches the rest of the bedding.

Obviously buying a bedding set is a lot easier than matching up comforters and pillowcases and luckily there are a few available.

Now another way to create a JB bed is by using a plain comforter set and adding a Justin Bieber throw blanket over the top along with lots of pillows. In fact pillows are very important whether you go for a JB comforter or a plain one.

Of course there are always extra touches you can add to your perfect Justin Bieber bedroom such as photo frames, lamps, chairs, jewelry boxes, money boxes etc However if you’ve just added all of the touches I’ve mentioned you’ve created an awesome Justin Bieber bedroom and the extra little pieces can be gift ideas for your child’s next birthday or Christmas.
