Pop Art Light Switch Covers

If you love pop art, but just can’t afford an Andy Warhol to hang on your wall the answer may be in a light switch cover. There are some fantastic pop art inspired light switch covers available on Amazon. I have often used children’s inspired light switch covers such as the Disney Princesses when decorating their bedroom, but I hadn’t thought about using these decorative light switch covers in other rooms before.

When I found this range of pop art light switch covers I was absolutely rapt as they are going to look so cool in my house. I was even happier that I ‘knew’ the designer and have long been a fan. Sandy Mertens has designed this particular range of decorative light switch covers and has been showing off her creative side on Zazzle for a while.

I’ve been lucky enough to get to know Sandy through Squidoo and seeing some of her designs used on these light switch plate covers was (to quote Barney Stinson) awesome!

Sandy has taken Andy Warhol’s pop art technique and applied it to her other art to create these wonderful designs that are sure to impress any fan of pop art. These pop art light switch covers really are like having a piece of art surrounding your light switch!

I’m in the process of re-decorating my own home, but the one area that has already been painted and ‘fitted out’ is our downstairs bar. Not because that’s the important room, but we had a function to host recently…..honestly! This would be the perfect place to use a double toggle pop art light switch cover – but which one?

As a family we all love dogs though so one of these designs might be easier to agree on, although again which one?   Personally I like the border collie, but I’m pretty sure we’re going to be split in a three way tie (I know my family too well!). 

These pop art light switch cover designs are all available in both single and double light switches which I think is good news.   I hate agreeing on a design and finding the right size isn’t available – don’t you?
