Team Jacob Twilight Mouse pads

Jacob Black’s father Billy and Bella Swan’s dad Charlie are both great friends and Jacob and Bella carry that on to another generation.   It is as a friend that we are introduced to Jacob in the initial Twilight book and movie.   The Team Jacob camp was started in New Moon when Jacob and Edward Cullen both wanted Bella.   The love triangle was to heat up and the audience was split between the two men.

If you fell for Jacob Black then you’re a member of Team Jacob and you’re bound to love these Twilight Team Jacob mousepads.   I know my own niece would absolutely kill for a Jacob Black mouse pad as she was taken with him in the books and when Taylor Laurent was chosen to play him in the movies she was totally smitten!

According to author Stephanie Meyer Jacob Black was originally not going to have a big part.  He was there to plant the idea of Edward being a vampire to Bella and to carry a warning to her from his dad at her prom.   Stephanie and her editor liked his character however and decided to flesh him out a bit and give him a meatier role in the next book.   I believe that this was a masterstroke on her part as the love triangle between Jacob, Edward and Bella is key to the rest of the Twilight Saga books and movies.

Jacob is a member of the La Push tribe and is one of the ancient line of Quileute werewolves (although we don’t know this when we first meet him).   He is introduced with his father Bella near the beginning of the Twilight movie.   When Edward leaves Bella in New Moon she spends a lot of time with Jacob and they become very close with Jacob believing that he is in love with her.

Unfortunately for Jacob, Bella loves him just as a friend and doesn’t feel the same deepness and completeness of feelings for him as she does for Edward.   Jacob tells her that she doesn’t have to change for him, but it’s not enough.  Now if you’d rather have chosen Jacob over Bella then you will absolutely flip for these gorgeous Twilight Jacob Black mousepads.   These Team Jacob mouse pads certainly provide some pleasant eye candy for the home office………be warned though if you use one of these at the office it may find it’s way into a fellow Jacob fan’s drawer!
